Formative Assessment

Formative evaluations are continuous throughout the academic year, focusing on day-to-day student engagement and learning. Key components include:

  • Class Participation: Active involvement in live sessions, forums, and class discussions.

  • Homework & Classwork: Timely and high-quality submissions reflecting daily learning.

  • Attendance: Steady participation in online classes, showing dedication.

  • Quizzes: Regular short quizzes for real-time comprehension checks.

  • Projects: Application-based mini-projects that connect theory to practice.

  • Assessments: End-of-month reviews to ensure steady curriculum progression.

These elements together contribute 40% to the student’s final grade, allowing early identification of challenges and timely support.

Summative Assessment

Summative assessments are conducted at the end of terms or academic sessions, measuring cumulative knowledge. This includes:

  • Mid-term Exams: In-depth evaluation of subject matter covered in the first half of the term.

  • Final Exams: Comprehensive assessment of the entire course curriculum.

Summative evaluations account for 60% of total academic performance, providing a clear measure of subject mastery and academic readiness

Note: As per International Standards and Ministry directives, No Exams for Grade I, II and III. Their Assessment reports will be make as per their Home and Class Assignments.
